About

Photography as a passion has been a large part of my life for the past seven years - it’s synonymous with my love for Star Wars, since my original background in photography comes from photographing screen accurate costumes that members of the 501st Legion and sister clubs built for charitable events.

My involvement for the community took me to Lucasfilm in February 2022 where I met Lynne Hale, the company’s lifelong Head of Publicity who was retiring. She saw my photos from the event that I was out there for and offered to take a call with me, asking on that chat if I knew what unit still photography was. To her surprise, I didn’t know, despite having already shot photos on a few film sets in my university years studying cinema in school.

We agreed to combine several of my passions to make for longevity in this career - my love for Star Wars, passion for mixed martial arts that drove me to the stunt community, and my “successful student” life mentality that brought me to George Lucas’ alma mater in the University of Southern California. I knew I needed to get up to speed, so there was no better place to go back to film school I on my own terms. Stunts became the yin to my yang that USC was, bringing me onto my first sets and became my network, resulting in the reality that this just wasn’t an idea anymore.

A year and a half later since we began, I am now prepping for my first runs on features and television shows.

In my spare time, you can find me practicing mixed martial arts, visiting Disney often, as well as traveling the world. I also am a community manager who’s since moved to consulting, helping brands understand the idea that their success comes from leaning in, not looking outwards.

My photography’s goal: join all movement

Coming from a background of action and stunts, my inherent and practiced understanding of what the human body is capable of drives my love for photography.. Combined with my love for movies, the ability to do both on a film set is what makes what I do as a unit still photographer priceless.

To be able to tell the story of the film, the people who are making it and why they did it, and make myself as invisible as possible in the process unless a more hands on approach is called for is not an easy feat and why I love what I do.

I shoot with both Canon Mirrorless and DSLR, and have a variety of lenses.
